The Cake of Happiness

I wished for my cake to be the biggest and most delicious cake in the world.

Whenever someone else’s cake seemed bigger or tastier than mine, I felt uneasy.

No matter how big my cake was, I always felt it wasn’t enough for just myself.
So, I refused to share it and kept it hidden, eating it alone.

But something strange happened. The more I kept it hidden, the more its flavor faded.
It started to dry out, crack, and eventually mold, making it inedible.

Then, I decided to share my cake with others.

I thought it wouldn’t be enough, but the moment I shared it, the cake became even more delicious, and my happiness multiplied endlessly.

That’s when I realized: the more you share your cake, the bigger and better it becomes.

Now, whenever I have a cake, I try to share as much of it as possible.

Not because I’m a generous person, but because I fear my cake might lose its taste or value if I don’t.

Sharing my cake is the most selfish way for me to make my happiness grow.

The Paradox of Happiness

I wanted to be the happiest person in the world.

I didn’t want others to be as happy as me, so whenever something made me happy, I kept it to myself.

I tried to remain the only happy person in a crowd full of unhappy people.

But over time, the happiness I hid away slowly disappeared,

leaving me with nothing but growing loneliness and sadness.

So this time, I decided to share my happiness with my neighbors and laugh along with their joy.

And strangely, the more happiness I shared, the more I felt it myself.

I no longer fear being lonely or sad, so I work hard to share my happiness with others.

Because this is the most selfish way to make my own happiness even greater.

Sharing Light

I wished for my light to be the brightest in the world.

Afraid that my light might leak out to others, I kept it tightly hidden.

But the more I hid my light, the darker my surroundings became.

No matter how much I held onto it, the feelings of isolation and confinement grew stronger.

So, I decided to share my light with my neighbors.

And in that moment, my world became dazzlingly bright.

I realized that the more you share your light, the stronger it becomes.

Now, I strive to share my light with as many people as possible.

Because this is the most selfish way to make my light shine the brightest in the world.
